Doing our part to reduce our carbon footprint is an important part of our business. Our commitment is shown by our use of carefully selected timbers from renewable sources. But that’s not all; from switching off electrical items not in use in both the office and workshop to using only recycled paper products and separating our waste before passing it on to our recycling partners is all part of how we show our commitment to the environment.
So please feel free to recycle our correspondence or better still: re-use it and pass it to a friend!

Timber extraction is beneficial for the environment. Planting trees for harvesting actually helps to combat green house gasses. When seedlings are planted they absorb CO2 (carbon dioxide) and expel oxygen during the growing process. There is growing concern about the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, but if more timber was used, more trees would be planted and more CO2 would be soaked up.
Other products like glass, plastics and metals all use more energy and create more CO2 to transform these products from the raw state to finished products.
So protect our future and use timber.
